NexVerde Energy Solutions LLC
Company snapshot
NexVerde finds the clean energy funding a municipality, school district, or public agency can actually win, gets that community application-ready, and helps them get projects built. We are the missing execution layer between public programs and finished local projects—Match, Ready, Deliver—powered by a data engine that sees the market from the national picture down to a single town.
Communities use Match and Ready at no cost. Some delivery firms pay a subscription for early notice of public bids. They get no inside information and no advantage. Our incentive is that the project gets built, not billable hours.
Problem we solve
Federal and state programs have put hundreds of billions on the table for clean energy. Claiming it takes capacity that small and mid-sized communities rarely have. Funding flows to places already staffed to compete; communities that need it most get left behind.
NexVerde is that missing capacity. We do the work that turns a funding opportunity into a project that gets built.
Core competencies
| Step | What we do | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Match | Build the funding profile; run it against live federal, state, and utility rules; score competitiveness on eligibility and award fit; map deadlines, awards, and match. | Ranked shortlist of programs the community can realistically win, with recommended first target. |
| Ready | Assess five pillars (Data, Planning, Capacity, Governance, Engagement); build benchmarked baselines, savings and cost models, and emissions estimates; write to the funder’s rubric. | Readiness score, punch-list, data package, and competitive application (or grant-writer inputs). |
| Deliver | Help the community understand what the project needs so their team or engineer can define it. When funded, explain the funder's procurement steps. The community runs its own bid. Once the bid is public, let qualified firms know it is open. Track milestones and funder reporting from award to construction. | A fair, public bid with qualified firms invited to compete. |
Data engine: National opportunities and awards (Grants.gov, USASpending); state gap ranks; local matches and readiness. Primary geography: Massachusetts first (Grid-Ready prototype: one closed Fall 2026 DOER round, 57 towns in the Data Studio—real, but a single round; more rounds and states still ahead), with a national federal layer. Programs often evaluated: MA Green Communities Designation/Competitive, DOE EECBG, Renew America’s Schools, IRA Elective Pay, USDA REAP, EPA Solar for All, MassCEC and utility programs.
Differentiators
- Eligibility is not competitiveness — we score which programs a community can win, and why.
- Five-pillar readiness — measured, scored, and closed with a concrete punch-list before the deadline.
- Named project types — heat pumps in a school, solar canopy over a DPW lot, storage on a fire station—not vague “clean energy.” The community's engineer defines the scope.
- Free to the community — Match and Ready cost the public body nothing; some delivery firms pay a subscription for early notice of public bids, with no inside information and no advantage.
- Outcomes flywheel — every apply / win / lose / why builds the win-probability record as outcomes accumulate; today matching runs on eligibility and award data; the moat is what works, not a scrapeable program list.
Past performance (founder-delivered)
These results are the founder’s track record in municipal clean energy development. NexVerde is where that experience becomes a repeatable model. They are not claimed as awards already executed under the NexVerde LLC name alone.
| Metric | Result |
|---|---|
| Municipal clean energy projects developed and managed | $1.2M+ |
| Grant and proposal submissions led | 60+ |
| States of on-the-ground experience | 12+ |
| Industry and government engagements | 38+ |
